Hello everyone!

For my absurdist coming-of-age tragicomedy, I am looking for a few enthusiastic crew members who want to join our team!
This involves a voluntary, unpaid production for my minor at the HKU, with the goal of submitting to a film festival.

We'll make a beautiful film out of it together!

ABOUT THE FILM:
Rowan (20) prefers to hide in his safe routine because of his fear of nausea. Until he messes up at work and is sent out onto the street by his boss. This results in an absurd and humorous adventure outside his comfort zone, in which he has to face his greatest fear.

A film about embracing fears, letting go, and personal freedom.

What we offer

Afterwards, the opportunity to submit the film to a film festival.

Sound Recorder / Sound: recording sound on set.
Gaffer
1st AC (focus puller)
Best Boy / Grip: someone with experience with grip material and rigging, who can assist with lighting and camera setups.

Job requirements / profile
Sound Recorder / Sound
- Experience with sound shooting on a film set.
- Knowledge of boom, microphones, and audio recorders.
- Ability to independently record and monitor sound.

Gaffer
- Experience with film and set lighting.
- Knowledge of lighting equipment and lighting setups.
- Collaborate with the DoP to realize the desired lighting plan.

Best Boy / Grip
- Experience with grip material and rigging.
- Knowledge of stands, flags, frames, and camera support.
- Technical insight and the ability to safely build setups.

1st AC / Focus Puller
- Experience with pulling the focus during shooting.
- Knowledge of cameras, lenses, and follow focus systems.
- Ability to work accurately and maintain focus during shots.
