More than sixty European film and audiovisual organisations are opposing a proposed 30% cut to AgoraEU. The Irish Council Presidency wants to reduce the budget from €8.6 billion to €6 billion. The sector warns that this harms independent production, cultural diversity, and cross-border cooperation.
