Screen Flanders will cease operations on January 1, 2027, following a cost-cutting decision by the Flemish government. The economic stimulus system, active since 2012, supported 251 productions with €48.8 million over fifteen years and generated €317.2 million in audiovisual spending. Belgian and international co-productions, including films by Lukas Dhont and Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, benefited from the fund.
