The Arab Critics' Awards for European Films reach their eighth edition with 25 nominated European titles. The initiative by European Film Promotion and the Arab Cinema Center increases the visibility of European films in the Arab-speaking world. The selection includes films that have already stood out at Cannes, Sundance, the Berlinale, CPH:DOX, and Karlovy Vary. Among the nominees are Coward by Lukas Dhont, Rose by Markus Schleinzer, and Dua by Blerta Basholli, among others. Three finalists will be selected for the awards ceremony at the El Gouna Film Festival in Egypt.
