Film Fest Gent takes place this year from October 7 to 18 and presents its 53rd edition with more than one hundred feature films from nearly fifty countries. Twelve films are competing, including La Gradiva by Marine Atlan, Minotaur by Andreï Zviaguintsev, Fatherland by Pawel Pawlikowski, and A Good Little Soldier by Stéphane Brizé. The Galas are screening Fjord by Cristian Mungiu and All Of A Sudden by Ryûsuke Hamaguchi, among others. The festival opens with Coward by Lukas Dhont and closes with Le Faux Soir by Michaël R. Roskam. Additionally, the festival honors Éric Rohmer with eighteen films and organizes the 26th World Soundtrack Awards.
