Clare Stewart will step down as Business Director after IFFR 2027, following four editions in which she led the organization together with Festival Director Vanja Kaludjercic. She strengthened IFFR's financial position and secured four-year grants from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) and the Municipality of Rotterdam through 2029. Ticket sales increased by 20% over the past three festivals. After her departure, Stewart will focus entirely on the Displacement Film Fund, founded by Cate Blanchett.
