Shooting for *Wake Me Up*, Laurent Lafitte's second feature film, began on August 27. Lafitte, this year's César Award winner for Best Actor, stars alongside Gilles Lellouche, Chiara Mastroianni, Galatea Bellugi, and D'Johé Kouadio. The script, adapted by Lafitte and François Favrat from Abel Quentin's novel *Le Voyant d'Étampes*, follows literature professor Jean Roscoff, who struggles with his reputation as an anti-racist. Mamma Roman is producing the film, while Pathé is handling distribution and worldwide sales. Canal+ and Amazon Prime acquired the film. Shooting will continue until October 10, primarily in Île-de-France.
