The Netherlands Film Fund and the IDFA Bertha Fund have selected two documentaries via the NFF + IBF Co-Production Scheme, each receiving a contribution of €50,000. *Oh Heart Don't Be Afraid* by director Ana Kvichidze, a Georgian-Dutch co-production between 17/07 Productions and Muyi Film, follows a queer person from a religious community in Georgia who draws strength from the world of a witch. *Before the Fire* by Angel Giovanni Hoyos, produced by Septima Films and IJswater Films, documents a Mapuche community in southern Argentina reclaiming its ancestral territory while the murder of a community member disrupts its daily life.
