Filmfest Hamburg, CICAE, and Futura Cinema are launching a joint program during the 34th edition of Filmfest Hamburg, taking place from September 29 to October 1, 2026, in which 25 European professionals explore six innovation projects focused on audience development and the future of cultural venues. The selected projects, encompassing technological, social, and economic approaches, will be tested in Hamburg cinemas and cultural spaces, while participants provide feedback and vote for the "Professionals' Favourite" Award. Applications, open to cinemas, festivals, and distributors based in Europe, must be submitted before July 10, 2026, with selected participants receiving financial support.
