Hi! I'm Max, and I'm a director of photography, and I also make edits. I'm based in Rotterdam. I have experience in short films, commercials and documentaries and ideally I'm looking for a nice project to really sink my teeth in. I've worked for ESPN, Feyenoord, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a range of commercial bureaus and last year I shot two pilots for 3LAB (Bittersweet, AvroTros and Cum Laude, BNNVARA) and shot and edited a short film (Verlosing). The year before that I shot and edited another short film (Benauwd, Official Selection International Film Festival Bratislava) and did the cinematography and the edit for a sports documentary (El Gladiador, Feyenoord production). Apart from my capabilities as a cinematographer and editor I also own a studio in Rotterdam, in case there's a necessity for anything ranging from (small) green screen shoots, projection or a place to edit. I'm not necessarily looking for anything that's particularly well paid, the most important thing for me is that it's a project with a good story and good people! Maybe you're feeling a bit stuck, or perhaps your work is not quite finished yet and you would love to hear it come to life to find out what it sounds like. Or maybe you want your work to be as appealing as possible for the potential actors that will bring your characters to life and you're curious about what draws experienced actors to a specific piece of work. I am an experienced actor who has acted on and off for the past 30 years, both in theater and film.
