Actors wanted for Horror short film!
We are currently casting for several roles in an upcoming movie set in the vibrant city of Groningen. The film explores themes of isolation, paranoia, and the intricacies of friendship amidst the backdrop of student life.
Roles Available:
Anna (Lead Role): Female, aged 18-25. Anna is a university student living in student housing in Groningen. After a night out, she can't shake off the feeling of being followed, leading to a series of unsettling experiences. As her paranoia deepens, she finds herself increasingly alienated when her concerns are dismissed by her friends. Applicants should be able to portray a range of emotions, from fear to isolation. English proficiency is required, and a Dutch accent or other accents can be accommodated to some extent.
Robin: (Supporting Role): Any gender, aged 18-25. Robin is Anna's best friend, who is skeptical of Anna's fears and reluctant to believe her experiences. This role requires someone who can navigate the fine line between concern and disbelief, showcasing the complexities of friendship under strain.
Friends/Roommates: (Supporting Roles): Any gender, aged 18-25. A group of Anna's friends and roommates who share a close bond, especially during the busy exam period. While they initially support Anna, they begin to doubt her state of mind as she becomes more consumed by her paranoia. Actors for these roles should be able to portray a dynamic range of interactions, from camaraderie to conflict.
Requirements:
Age: 18-25
Fluent in English; a Dutch accent or other accents are acceptable within reason.
Ability to convey complex emotions and navigate the psychological depth of the characters.
