Actors wanted for short film 'Twin Flame - Cosmic Mistake'
We are looking for people who fit the following characters:
MARY - Woman 20-25
Mary is the protagonist. She's a naïve, flirty and good-willing young woman. She's between 20-25 years old and has white hair, innocent seductive eyes and some quirky traits such as plucking her fingers while she's lying.
We're looking for someone who has white hair or is willing to dye it so we can prevent our audience from experiencing the horror of seeing House of Dragon-like wigs.
Character references: Every Disney princess, Adora from She-ra and Starlight from The Boys.
LUCIFER - Man 20 - 30
Lucifer is the antagonist of the story. He's a tall, angelic, slender figure with dark, wavy long hair and some facial hair. He's around 25 years old. He's obsessed with his perfect version of Mary: Lilith, referring to his former lover.
He's intelligent but cocky. His strength lies in his wordplay, psychology and wit: he never lies, but he rarely tells the full truth. He always seems one step ahead of Mary. He seems fueled by evil and thrives on chaos, but knows how to mask it well with his charming character.
He also shows subtle signs of insecurity, masked by his ego and self-esteem. Lucifer has not made peace with his true identity: Lucifer, the fallen angel - he sees himself rather as the very angel he once was: Samael.
Character references: Voldemort from Harry Potter, Lucifer from Lucifer but more old school devilish and Klaus from the Vampire Diaries.
AURA - Woman 25 - 35
She's around 30 years old and has ginger/dark brownish hair, deep brown/hazelnut coloured eyes and light freckles scattered out on her cheeks and resembles the stereotypical mysterious medicine lady living somewhere in the forest. She travels the earth like a nomad and has an aura of wisdom and relaxation glooming all around her. She has a soothing voice that might later be used as voice-over, so experience in voice-acting is a plus.
Character references: Melisandre from Game of Thrones.
Character voice references: Galadriel from Lord of the Rings and Cersei from Game of Thrones.
ROBIN - Any gender 20 - 30
20 - 30, Open to interpretation. We are curious about the different ways this character can be played.
MARY'S FATHER - Man 30 - 60
Town leader / Amish man. He looks around 40 - 60. Has an older face filled with life experience. He is their village leader and has to protect them during times of sickness and famine. He shows anger, disgust and hate to mask his fear, sadness, and confusion. He believes his daughter is possessed and that he has to be the one who saves her. (Maybe feels like he failed her in some way).
No character reference, open to interpretation.
MARY'S MOTHER - Woman 30 - 60
Cold-hearted person. She looks around 40-60. Very analytical and focused on the family. Is willing to sacrifice a child to save the rest of the family. She is the real decision-maker of the family/village and controls her husband emotionally. Eventually lashes out at Mary to confront her about her suspicions about Mary's possession.
Character reference: Angela in the office or Mrs. Everdeen from the hunger games.
