BANGLADESH SCENE CONTEXT: Wear clothing and style your hair to look like one of the characters in the photo. Use a Coke bottle, not any other product. Context: the man in the photo is the youngest of 7 siblings, all his siblings are women. He’s about to marry and his sisters and aunts threw him a bridal (groom?) shower at home with family and food, usually reserved for women only. Look at the photo below.
1. Bangladeshi sisters: Women of Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Indian or South Asian descent, or of any descent but must have features similar to one of the women in the picture. Ages 20-35.
2. Bangladeshi brother: Man of Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Indian or South Asian descent, or of any descent but must have features similar to the man in the picture. Ages 20-30.
3. Bangladeshi aunt: Woman of Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Indian or South Asian descent, or or any descent but must have features similar to the woman in the middle of the photo. Ages 35-45.
TURKEY SCENE
SCENE CONTEXT: Wear clothing and style your hair to look like one of the characters in the photo. Use a Coke bottle, not any other product. Context: It’s a family birthday gathering for the woman in the yellow dress, it’s her 21st birthday. She and her family are celebrating with a home cooked meal.
4. Turkish granddaughters: Women of Turkish or Middle Eastern descent, or of any descent but must have similar features to the women in the photos below, ages 20-28.
5. Turkish grandfather: Man of Turkish or Middle Eastern descent, or of any descent but must have similar features to the man in the photo below, ages 70-85.
6. Turkish mom: Woman of Turkish or Middle Eastern descent, or of any descent but must have similar features to the woman in the photo, ages 45-55.
7. Turkish grandmothers: Woman of Turkish or Middle Eastern descent, or of any descent but must have features similar to the women in the photos below, ages 65-85.
How to Submit:
Visit this link https://yanga.mx/ongoing-castings/coke-phase-2/ and click on the character you wish to submit yourself for. Fill out the form and follow the instructions to upload the following required material:
Slate video (names, age, profile, hands, mention nationality on passport and ethnic descent
Video with casting action specific to your character (these 2 videos can be combined as 1 if desired) See below the action required for each characters.
4-8 photos (at least one clear headshot, at least one full body shot, and other photos).
**SELF TAPE ACTIONS**
BANGLADESH SCENE
SISTERS CASTING ACTION: You’re at your youngest brother’s bridal groom shower, talking to him about how happy you are for him about getting married. Your brother says he’ll get some food, but you get it for him (you’re pampering him). Serve him a plate first, then eat some food yourself, and drink a sip of coke. Then leave him and your food on the table and grab two of your sisters to practice a simple dance that you’ll surprise your family with later.
BROTHER CASTING ACTION: You’re at the bridal groom shower your sisters and aunts threw for you. You’re very grateful to them for putting this event together. You’re listening to one of your sisters give you advice (some good, some not so good) on how to have a happy marriage. You tell her you’ll grab some food, but she stops you and does it for you (she’s pampering you). Grab a plate, eat from it, drink a sip of coke. Tell her you appreciate all the pampering.
AUNT CASTING ACTION: You’re at your nephew’s bridal groom shower that you and your nieces threw for him. Walk into the frame holding a pot full of food, while you tell some of your nieces where to place other pots and food items. Then talk to your nephew, tell him you did all this with a lot of love for him, and offer some advice on how to have a happy marriage while you put some food on a plate for you, eat from it, and drink a sip of coke.
**TURKEY SCENE**
GRANDDAUGHTERS CASTING ACTION: You’re at your 21st birthday lunch with your family. Your sister gives you a gift and show each other some love. Then walk up to the table where your mom, grandparents and aunts are having a conversation. Join them, eat some food from your plate and drink a sip of coke. Your grandfather, who is a soft-spoken but funny man, says something that makes all of you laugh. Take his hand and lay your head on his shoulder like in the third picture above. A sweet moment.
GRANDFATHER CASTING ACTION: You’re at your granddaughter's 21st birthday lunch, sitting at the table and talking to your wife, daughter and sisters. You’re soft-spoken but chatty, you eat food from your plate and drink a sip of coke. Your granddaughter stands next to you, then you say something that makes everyone laugh. She takes your hand and lays her head on your shoulder while laughing. A sweet moment.
MOM CASTING ACTION: You’re at your daughter’s 21st family birthday lunch, you give her a present and show each other love.
