CHARACTERISATION: 27-28 years old, tall, curly hair, lean physique, big smile (rarely seen), shirt, jeans & sneakers
TRUE CHARACTER: Deep desire to create a legacy, to have control over his life, to reach his true self potential. Warm, funny, caring.
BACKSTORY: Dad was a goner, left right as he was born, but not before giving him this name. Mom did her best to support him, even though there were no means for a proper upbringing. Regardless of that, he grew up being loved by his mom. Ben has always been an entertainer, but due to the fact that he has a fear of being put in the spotlight/failure, he has never actually succeeded in becoming a professional actor.
Met Marco at an audition, where Marco overheard Ben’s phone call with his mom and mentioning his expensive rent and needing a new place to live. Marco offered Ben to crash on his couch until he steps on his feet
WHY DO WE CARE?– Whenever he gets closer to success ie. Lands a small role, gets appreciated to for his talents, we see little glimpses of the true ben – the warm, cheerful, fun Ben. However, with each failure he becomes more disheartened although he tries to keep his spirits up.
WHAT DO THEY WANT? Superstar status, financial status.
WHY DO THEY WANT IT? He wants to feel fulfilled. He wants to have spark and happiness in his life again, and he believes he can achieve it through career success.
WHAT DO THEY HAVE TO LOSE? If he doesn’t succeed, he would live a life of failure, of no significance, never achieving his potential.
