Since completing his education in sound engineering at the Sound Evolution Academy in Hilversum, Hans has been working full-time in this field. His wide range of experience in the field of sound makes him widely applicable. Musicals, live bands, theatre productions, studio work, film and television (national and international) are now part of his experiences.

With great fascination for sound, Hans moves through this landscape with endless possibilities. With an education in his pocket but mainly driven by his curiosity and the boldness to make contact with 'masters' in the field makes him a versatile sound engineer.

In recent years he has been seen as an excellent sound designer/editor in the film and television world. He works from his own studio, which he has owned since 2012. With a sharp ear, attention to detail and a good ability to convey atmosphere he knows how to deliver good results. This result does not go unheard, Hans has now won several awards and nominations for 'best sound design'.

Hans is a versatile sound engineer with a fine ear, a sense for detail and knows how to give each project its own character.

In addition to his own company, Hans works as a Theatre Technical Producer at Codarts, Rotterdam University of the Arts.
