I’m directing and acting in a 7 to 8 minute short film called “Letting Go”. It follows David, a man who uses a Memory Device to relive moments with his late partner Nick. The script, storyboard, shot list and pre-production in general are almost locked. I’m looking for someone genuinely aligned with the vision who wants to help bring it to life on set, not shape it from scratch.

A co-director to be the creative eye on set while the director is also in front of the camera.

Job requirements / profile
∙ Help prepare and run rehearsals with the actors before the shoot day.
∙ Watch the monitor on set, give feedback on performances, and help make real-time calls when I’m in front of the camera.
∙ A strong feel for intimate, naturalistic storytelling. This is a quiet film — no big gestures.
∙ Comfortable working within a defined creative vision and contributing from there.
