On March 23, prior to the Series Mania Forum in Lille, the second edition of Buyers Upfront takes place, where more than 100 buyers will see exclusive previews of ten selected series. A notable addition to the selection is Alice, a six-episode French-Belgian-Canadian drama series for HBO Max and France Télévisions, which follows the life of Alice Guy, the first female fiction director in film history. The series was created by Claire Lemarchal and Tim Loane, who wrote the script with André Gulluni, and was directed by Virginie Verrier and Guillaume Lonergan. The other selected series come from Spain, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Singapore.
